Portageville Bridge
The Portageville bridge in Letchworth State Park, NY spans the Genesee River gorge. Built in 1875, was constructed in about 2 months to replace a wooden trestle destroyed by fire. It has seen continuous operation for 140 years and will soon be replaced by a new bridge.
